Memorial-610 is a family-owned veterinary hospital serving the Houston community for over 50 years. As the only clinic in Texas with two Board-Certified Canine and Feline Practice Specialists, we are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care and developing life-long relationships with pets and their families.

We are an AAHA-accredited and Cat-Friendly certified hospital that values compassionate and comprehensive care.  Four veterinarians and six LVTs, along with several CVAs and CSRs comprise our veterinary care team.

Externship Overview

• Duration: 2-4 weeks
• Mentorship: Learn under board-certified veterinarians specializing in canine and feline care, as well as two additional veterinarians currently pursuing board-certification.
• Hands-on Experience:
• Diagnostics: Radiography, Ultrasound, Endoscopy
• Surgery: General and Soft Tissue, including Trauma
• Dentistry: Comprehensive oral health care
• Internal Medicine: Chronic disease management, Oncology
• Improve clinical skills with direct mentorship.
• Gain exposure to advanced diagnostics and treatments.
• Engage with client communication and practice team dynamics.

We provide a wide array of veterinary services, including but not limited to:

• Preventive Care: Comprehensive wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention.
• Surgery: From routine spays and neuters to complex soft tissue procedures.
• Dental Care: Cleanings, extractions, and full oral health services.
• Advanced Diagnostics: In-house laboratory, ultrasound, radiology
• Senior Pet Wellness: Specialized geriatric care to ensure quality of life for senior pets.
